Innovation Rally

In a rural part of Kentucky, Buddy Berry leads a school district where teachers, staff, students, and parents think differently about how to engage students by focusing on creating a place where kids want to be.
Two years after he became the superintendent, Berry injected the school district with a new philosophy called “Surprise and Delight.” Surprise and Delight captures imaginations and adds an element of fun and student engagement, by "taking anything else that people take for granted and kind of cranking it up to awesome."
